Serendipity Beach Resort Koh Lipe

The staff did a great job. They picked us up and dropped us at the pier for check-in and checkout, arranged tours, answered our questions, and were kind throughout. The daily breakfast spread on the balcony and the amazing view were highlights, along with the service and the feeling of luxury compared with the rest of the island. We felt the price was fair, and I'd recommend it to someone visiting Koh Lipe. The rooms feel dated, and mosquitoes were a real problem. The net made the room feel like a hot box, so it was a choice between heat and getting bitten. Better-sealed rooms would help, since there were cracks everywhere and most doors didn't close all the way. We also found several maggots and a few lizards. I don't know where the maggots came from, as we hadn't left food out. My four-star rating is more about the building's upkeep and outside factors that made parts of the stay uncomfortable.

After snorkeling, it was great to come back to a comfortable hot shower. The reef just in front is beautiful and easy to reach, and the hotel sits right by Sunrise Beach, so you can enjoy the sea any time. The view over Sunrise Beach is breathtaking, and the art throughout the interior gives the place a creative, relaxing feel. Staff were friendly and attentive. One even recognized us on the beach and came over to greet us, which made us feel cared for. The stay was very private too, with check-in, breakfast, and even massage services brought right to our room. A peaceful, comfortable choice in Koh Lipe, highly recommended.

The water is crystal clear, with calm seas and those emerald green and blue views right from the room. Serendipity feels like the picture-perfect tropical island you might see in a movie. The rooms are lovely, well furnished, comfortable, quiet, and very private. The restaurant serves fabulous food, including some of the best Thai dishes around, and the island's seafood is just as good here. Staff are amazing, always smiling and ready to help with whatever you need. I highly recommend this hotel. It was an absolutely fabulous stay and a memory I'll keep.

The private beach was beautiful, with some of the softest sand we came across on Koh Lipe. We also made good use of the free kayaks and snorkeling gear, and the on-site restaurant was easily among the island's best. Breakfast brought to the room was a lovely way to start the day, especially out on the balcony facing the sea. The staff were warm, attentive, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. Serendipity is a special place. We were sad to leave and would absolutely stay again.
