The staff were friendly and efficient, and reception was welcoming. The rooms are clean and attractive, and the place feels calm, clean and gentle. It's easy to find and has parking. There isn't much going on right around the hotel, but convenience shops are only a few meters away. I highly recommend staying here.

Thawan apartment looked fairly new and better than the other small hotels and resorts I found, which seemed a bit run down. There are no tourist-class hotels in the area, and we only needed one night in Satun. Parking was easy since there were very few cars in the lot. The rooms aren't large, but they're clean and adequate, with hot showers, TVs and fridges. There's no dining area or breakfast, though restaurants are nearby, including a dim sum place. The Bt750 rate was very reasonable and good value.

The property is close to the city centre and has good parking on site. We stayed one night in March 24 before catching a ferry to Langkawi. The rooms and grounds were clean and modern, and hot water for tea and coffee was available in the common areas. Reception staff were friendly and polite. It was a comfortable stay for a reasonable price.

From my balcony, the view at night was lovely, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The room was very clean, with warm shower water too. Noon checked me in at 21:20 and kindly helped me find a scooter rental and figure out where to go for a border run. I really appreciated her help, even at reception. This is a great hotel.

Spotless and looks almost brand new. Just right for a few days.
