Somsri Apartment

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, even though they didn’t speak English, and they let me bring my bike right into the room. That was a huge convenience while touring. The rooms are roomy and clean, the laptop Wi-Fi worked well, and the thicker foam bed was soft enough. It’s clearly not new, but the air conditioning and hot water worked well enough. My sink drain wouldn’t seal, though. There’s plenty of parking too. It’s outside the central area, so food choices nearby are limited, and the few places close by shut early. There was hot water for coffee in the small lobby, but no coffee, cups or stirrers. The only drinking water was the two bottles in the room, which just means more plastic. I was also bitten by three mosquitoes before I even got into bed. There aren’t many budget options in this crappy town.
