Club Tree Hotel

We had secure parking for the rental car, which was a real comfort, and the price felt like very good value for one night. The two-room setup gave our family plenty of room to relax after the long drive from Malaysia. The historic center was right nearby, and the staff were welcoming and helpful with tips. We also found an interesting art gallery just around the corner. A great choice for our overnight stop in Songkhla.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a great spread of both Thai and Western food. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. They also offer currency exchange, and the rates seemed better than the ATMs. The hotel was clean and pleasant for an overnight stay, right in the heart of Songkla. The tidy rooms, night market and beach within walking distance, and plenty of nearby bars and restaurants all worked well for us.

The room was clean and had no bad smell, since they provide room spray. There was a spacious king double bed and a small balcony, though in the hot weather I didn’t really want to use it. Check-in was quick, but remember the cash deposit. Soundproofing was the one thing I’d complain about.

The hotel was spotless and nicely decorated, with a cozy, welcoming feel. It’s close to the old town, and there are lots of food stalls and eateries nearby for trying local dishes. Ms. Oui Jurairat at reception was especially friendly and accommodating. She surprised us by upgrading our king-size room to a twin room with a balcony. I was really impressed with the service at Club Tree Hotel, and would recommend it for a stay in Songkhla.
