It was really clean and peaceful, though I don’t think there were other guests. We arrived by motorbike, which is handy for getting to the beach. The village is easy to explore on foot, with lots of restaurants.

It looks nice from outside and the place is quiet, but inside it’s run down, with squeaky mattresses and beds. We couldn’t find a room for the night and booked this through Agoda. Oh well.

If you want a quiet, secluded place to unwind, this resort is worth considering. It’s clean enough, though nothing fancy, and the vintage cabin really has an old-school feel, with a classic window and an old-school TV. It’s pretty remote, so getting a songthaew or Grab can be inconvenient. There are a few restaurants nearby, but you have to walk a bit, and I wouldn’t recommend walking at night because there’s little street lighting. It gave me the feeling of a Thai ghost movie 😭. For some reason I didn’t take any photos of the resort, smh.

I thought it might be poor because I’d seen the cheapest price on the island, but the atmosphere turned out to be really good. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms spacious, and there was parking right beside the room. I think it was worth staying here. One thing for the owner: the towels were terrible. I dried off with one and the fabric didn’t absorb water.

The staff are amazing and the room is nice. 7-11 is a 5-10 minute drive away.
