It's an okay business hotel, fairly cheap, with a decent room. The elevator smells a bit old, and the rooms sometimes have problems, like the AC not working properly, an infestation, or the soap dispenser or water heater failing. They're more than happy to move you, but it happens often enough to notice. The location is okay, not too far from the city centre, though there are better options.

We stayed overnight on our way to Bangkok and got a family room that was huge. They called it an adjoining room, but it was really a two-bedroom suite, and great value. There was tons of parking, and getting in was easy since the hotel is on the main road. Breakfast didn't have many options, but everything tasted good. There were lots of local evening street food vendors outside, and 7-11's were just a one-minute walk away. The hospital was across the street.

The rooms were bright, airy, and clean, and the staff were warm and friendly. This is one of the better places we've come across locally, and I'd recommend staying here. It's just down a side street, very close to the public hospital, with lots of shops nearby that make things easy.

For the quality of the service and amenities, I think Lee Hotel is very good value, with rates that make sense for budget-conscious travelers. I'd say it's one of the best in its class in Surat Thani. The rooms were clean and well maintained, a comfortable place to return to after a long day. The hotel stays kind of cool, so I barely needed the room AC. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, with a range of tasty options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with questions or requests.
