The hosts made us feel so welcome, and their hospitality was the best. Kay and Dorns is a lovely little spot surrounded by nature, and our stay was incredibly peaceful. Thanks for having us, we'd happily come back!

Getting around Khao Lak means having your own transport, though that seems to be true wherever you stay here. The rooms were comfortable, with a surprisingly large kitchen that came in handy. For such an affordable place, I was very happy with it, and the owners were friendly and easygoing. The garden is amazing.

Aathid Garden felt like a little paradise, with lovely people and an easy distance from the centre. We had only planned to stay one night, but liked it so much that we extended for the rest of our time in Khao Lak. I'd choose it again straight away if I return.

The green curry was generous and so tasty I can barely describe it. Everything we ate was fantastic and fresh; they even picked the fruit for my papaya salad while we watched. The heart-shaped rice made us smile, and the service was great at this quirky restaurant. For about £20, we had three mains, a salad, four beers and three sodas for two people. Well worth the trip.

Kay arranged a tour for us, and it was five stars plus. We also had a delicious meal, with very friendly staff and guests. Dorn and Kay were especially welcoming. Highly recommend it, and we'll be back! 👌🙏
