There’s plenty to eat and drink right outside, with lots going on nearby, so it works well as a short stop. The place is clean and functional for a budget stay, and the owner and staff were helpful and excellent. It’s a room without breakfast, right in the middle of the moo baan. Book early, since it can sell out fast.

The two cats I saw were both asleep in the lobby. The owner was friendly and easygoing, and my room was clean. You do have to take your shoes off as soon as you enter the building. The shower pressure could be stronger.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and nicely located. Just keep in mind there are cats if you have an allergy. Having to take off your shoes at the entrance was a downside for me.

My first night, I had painful bites all over my arms and legs and barely slept. I assumed mosquitoes at first, though I never heard any buzzing. It happened again the second night, so I went to a pharmacy, where they told me it was bedbugs and that I was the second person with the problem. When I moved my rucksack from the floor, I found bedbugs all over it, crawling in from the bed. Disgusting. The cats also destroyed my flip-flop by eating it while I was staying there.
