Amari Phuket

The Pakarang Club Lounge was luxurious and peaceful, with one of the most beautiful views in Patong. There was no need to go looking for restaurants because everything here was already excellent and complete. The ocean and the bar by the sea were another highlight. Sunset was beautiful, and I could sit there and relax without wanting to go anywhere else. Khun Joy and Khun Betty made the stay even more memorable. They were warm, attentive, and helpful, and their recommendations were excellent. Their genuine smiles and care stood out even more than the scenery. Amari Phuket may not be brand new, but the atmosphere, ocean views, and overall experience made it feel special. It was a truly relaxing stay, balancing privacy with convenience. I’d love to return and could easily see myself staying many more times. Highly recommended for Phuket.

A nature walkway winds through the property, with scenic views and quiet corners, and the tree pods for afternoon tea are a charming place for a relaxed treat. The resort is expansive, with three pools positioned to catch ocean views. Dining is plentiful and well done. Breakfast has an impressive spread, and the two club lounges add a premium touch. Rim Talay Restaurant stood out for its flavorful, authentic Asian and Indian dishes, consistently well presented. Amari Phuket sits at the quieter end of Patong Beach, close to the buzz but peaceful and private once you’re on the property. The private beach is a standout, especially from the Deluxe Wing rooms, where you can reach the shoreline in moments. Combined with panoramic sea views, it feels indulgent but relaxed. Thoughtful design, a prime location, and outstanding hospitality make this one of Phuket’s best resort experiences. It would suit couples, families, or anyone after comfort with character.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Amari, with breakfast at Rim Talay throughout. The setup and atmosphere were pleasant, but the food variety and taste could be better. It wasn't bad, though more local Thai dishes or signature specialties could add a real “wow” factor. The room was well maintained and comfortably clean. This was our first international family trip to Phuket with our baby, and the team made it special. They gave our baby a soft toy at arrival, a thoughtful gesture that won us over right away. They also accommodated our request for a beach-facing room. The lobby felt welcoming, and staff greeted us with smiles throughout the stay. They handled our special requests, including bottle sterilizing support and extra towels, which made traveling with a baby much less stressful. This has been one of our best travel experiences and will always mean a lot as our first international vacation with my wife and baby. We truly appreciate the care and hospitality. Amari is highly recommended for families.

The ocean view suite was spacious, with a separate bedroom, and breakfast in the Club room was very nice. The staff there were friendly and helpful. Still, I’d call this more of a 4-star than a 5-star hotel. Twice we returned after a day out to find our room hadn't been cleaned. When we called, staff asked if we wanted it cleaned, which seemed an odd response, and they were dismissive. Ordering potato chips from the bar menu turned into six phone calls, four calls to our room, and three visits in person. I cancelled after the third phone call, but they kept trying to complete the order. They were clearly trying hard, but nobody I spoke with understood spoken or written English, which made it challenging. At one point someone arrived with sheets instead of chips. Since the room and menu information is in English, it would help if someone in customer service and housekeeping spoke fluent English.
