Suriyan Villa

Bring your own transport if you stay here. There aren't Bolt drivers around, and Grab may have only a couple, so getting about can be difficult. My ride from Bangkok to the "villa" cost 1500baht, and a 10-minute trip from the villa to the park was also 1500baht. Going back to Bangkok took about two hours and cost 2700baht. The waterfalls are a short 10-minute trip away, and the best ones are 1, 4, and 7. Police are very attentive, so you'll need a license if you rent a scooter. The beds weren't comfortable, and the plumbing made a loud, wheezy noise all night on both nights I stayed. Pack earplugs. Just find another place!

We had to spend time indoors during a tropical rainstorm, and there was no seating in the room, though the terrace was lovely. The room itself was very clean, with a shower that had cool to tepid water. The huge fridge didn't work properly and left water on the floor, but there were mats to soak it up. The lady and staff were very friendly, and the room is near Erawan Falls, with an incredible river a short walk away. Restaurants and bars are also easy to reach on foot.

We had a great stay. The room was clean, the balcony was nice, the hot water worked, and the air conditioning was great. There's a lovely stream nearby, and 7/11 is just a minute's walk away. The location is also convenient, about five minutes from erwan national park, and the staff were very nice. You can reach them on WhatsApp.

Suriyan Villa is right on the main road to Erawan National Park, which makes it convenient for food and water activities. There are restaurants and street food stalls out front.
