The assigned rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi, AC, and heated showers all worked well. We’d booked two queen rooms, but although the three-story hotel and its three separate villas were otherwise empty, we were put at opposite ends of the first floor. My son’s room didn’t face the pool while ours did, which was disappointing. Later at the pool, we noticed that the queen rooms on the second and third floors had ocean views, and I wondered why we hadn’t been given one of those nicer rooms, since we weren’t disabled. The huge saltwater pool was lovely, and the ocean is just a short walk away. The separate villas have private pools and rooftop views. If you stay, ask for an ocean or pool view, or see the room before you accept it.

Chao-lao beach is a lovely spot, and the hotel is well located. The room was cozy, the service was great, and the price was reasonable. I’d recommend it.

I liked the shared area, with its pool, big grassy garden, and coconut trees. The hotel is right on Chaolao beach, with a Big C store just across from it. Our room was fairly clean, and the staff were really nice. Very good value overall.

There’s a large garden, but it’s empty, and the hotel restaurant by the beach was closed. Breakfast didn’t offer many choices, and towels were only provided for the room, not for the pool or seaside. Our room was big and pretty okay, but cleaning was poor. During our three days, the sheets were never changed, and most of the time cleaning seemed to mean only wiping the floor. The hotel has a lot of potential, but it needs serious renovation and better service. There aren’t enough staff to look after the property.
