Villa Phra Chan Resort

We’ve stayed twice in the oceanfront bungalow. It’s very clean and comfortable, with a great bed, and the setting is quiet. The pool is nice and clean too. Lilac smells lovely as you come in. The nearby restaurant was closed during our second visit, so we had to drive farther for dinner. There’s a 7-eleven just steps away for coffee, sandwiches, and the like, plus some street food vendors in its parking lot. There’s no beach access, but that was okay since the beach there isn’t very good anyway. We skipped breakfast, so can’t comment on it. Would recommend.

A nice option for a couple’s getaway, though the food and service let it down.

The hosts and staff were all kind and very nice, and I loved staying here after booking through Agoda. You can walk to a 7-11 and several restaurants in just a few minutes, with excellent food. I liked that most visitors in the area were Thai tourists, so it didn’t feel overwhelmed by others. Very sabi sabi.

This small Thai hotel offers good value in a fishing bay, though there’s no beach. It’s quiet, and the rooms and pool are very clean and well run. You get parking in front, plus a hot water jug, shower, bathroom, fridge, TV, and air purifier in the room. There’s a sea view out front, and food can be ordered through room service. For around a thousand baht, it’s a good deal. I liked the no pets or smoking policy. It’s away from the attractions, so you’ll need your own car.
