The bathrooms were dirty, the beds stained, cigarette butts were around the pool, and used cup noodles were on the kitchen table. We kept messaging the housekeeper and owner, but replies were slow and the cleaners didn’t arrive until after 5pm. They’d had four hours between the 11am checkout and 3pm check-in. We had an event to attend and ended up late after waiting in a smelly, messy living room and taking turns with a filthy bathroom. There were no toilet rolls, towels, shower gel, shampoo, or other toiletries, just a little hand soap. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper, then buy cleaning supplies ourselves. At this price, that’s unacceptable. Staff blamed too many check-ins that day. When we left before 11am, though, cleaners arrived within ten minutes, so they could have been ready for us too. The villa was poorly managed and unhygienic, and the stay was disappointing and unfair. Be careful before booking Alisa Pool Villa.

There’s a 7-Eleven right by the entrance, and it’s only a short drive into the city. We stayed in house number 37, which was clean and nicely organized. The common room is comfortable, with a dining table and a full set of dishes and utensils. The decor is lovely, and there are three kinds of pillows to choose from. Towels are provided too. There’s a small pool for a quick dip, and the whole place feels peaceful, making it easy to relax and sleep well. A great option for families or a group of friends looking for a quiet stay.

The villa cost us 2,328 THB in electricity for three nights, which already seemed very expensive. The only offer was a 50% refund of that fee, and we were refused a refund for the booking despite the condition of the place. We booked through Agoda six months in advance, with a 3pm check-in time. When we arrived at 4pm, there was rubbish everywhere, clogged toilets, leftover instant noodles, and unmade beds. It looked as though nobody had cleaned. We contacted the host right away, but it took over half an hour to hear back, and the reply felt indifferent. A cleaning team didn’t arrive until 6pm, three hours after check-in was supposed to begin. The host said there were too many check-ins and not enough staff. That didn’t seem reasonable given how far ahead we had booked. Throughout the ordeal, calls and messages went unanswered, and there was no urgency or sense of responsibility. The service was appalling, and the whole experience was deeply disappointing. I strongly advise against booking here.

When we checked out before 11am, cleaners arrived within ten minutes, which made it seem they could have been prepared for us as well. The place felt mismanaged, unhygienic, and overpriced. I’d avoid Alisa Pool Villa. There are more convenient options nearby.
