On the morning of 2/12/2018, I was stretching my arms and a blade from the fan hit me near the wrist, fracturing my forearm. If you're over six feet tall, avoid the 350 Baht rooms with their low-hanging metal ceiling fan, which only has high speeds, or don't switch it on. Get one of the 500 baht rooms without those fans.

The room was small but livable, clean, and worked fine. It had a fridge, water heater, AC, a large TV, a decent bed, and working lights. The bathroom was clean, with liquid soap and shampoo, and the water pressure was strong. The drain was so slow, though, that a long shower flooded the bathroom. There are no room windows, just a balcony overlooking the parking lot. Outside noise carries in from the hallway, parking area, and airplanes. The place looks plain, more like a hostel, and there's plenty of parking. Reception gets 3/5, while the price gets 4/5 for the value, though you need to leave a 300 baht cash key deposit. The housekeeping staff seemed a bit strange. You can get food on foot, so there's no need for a car. Mae Hay's pork sausage shop is a short walk away, and the sausage makes a delicious souvenir. The Facebook admin responds quickly. Three stars feels right.
