The Loft Room Ubon

The hotel looked lovely at night with the lights on. The room itself was decent, though a bit old, and the AC worked well. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the balcony was a good size, with a short rack for drying towels. I stayed during the Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival, paying 1.2K a night. The hotel is in the city area but a little out toward the edge, so there wasn't much traffic or crowding, though there weren't many restaurants either. The room wasn't soundproof. I could hear people walking and talking outside, and they could probably hear people inside too. 555. Some basic items were missing, including a hairdryer. The blankets were very thin, making it almost unbearable to sleep with the AC at 22-25 degrees Celsius. The balcony curtains were also too thin; I'd prefer blackout curtains for privacy and safety when using the bathroom. Breakfast included during the festival would have been a nice addition, since the 1.2K nightly price is comparable to city hotels. It's a good hotel, and anyone who got a budget-friendly booking found great value.

The hotel felt creepy. The bed was dirty and made me itchy, and the bathroom was dirty and covered in spider webs.

It's quiet and peaceful since the apartment isn't crowded, though the building is tucked away a bit. The apartment and room are both small but clean and tidy, and two people can fit comfortably. It looks neither old nor new. There's underground parking, but the entrance is narrow and takes some skill to reverse into. The owner is an older woman who isn't very comfortable with technology. You can see she's trying hard to provide good service, though you'll need a little patience. I'd book directly through the hotel; the rate is around 500 THB a night. The parking isn't plentiful, but I was able to get a spot. The room was clean, the price was good, the bed was soft, and the AC was cool. I slept well.
