We had a comfortable four-night stay at the Thonglor boutique and spa in Udon Thani. It’s about 200 meters down a soi, with a nice entrance and plenty of parking. The reception lady, who is the owner, was pleasant. Our second-floor rooms were okay and didn’t get too hot given how the building is positioned. The bed was large and firm, the air-con worked great, and there were plenty of power sockets. There was a vanity table with a mirror, but no safe. The door had a regular key lock and the power used a key card. The bathroom was standard Thai style, with the shower not separated from the toilet and sink, but there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. The window and enclosed veranda both had good fly screens. We just couldn’t get our phones or tablets connected to the WiFi, so I can’t say how fast or strong it was. It’s quiet, good value, and the service was good. We’d consider staying again and would recommend it.

I’ve stayed here twice, and I’ll come back next time. It’s good value, with nice, new, clean rooms and good service. The air conditioning cools the room perfectly, there are lots of food options nearby, and the housekeeper is lovely.

It was my first stay here, and I slept really well in this quiet, uncrowded neighborhood. The hotel isn’t far from Sam Phran intersection, so getting into the city is easy. At 550-600 baht, the price is reasonable and good value, and there’s plenty of parking.
