We stayed for two nights on our return trip to Bangkok, booking through Booking.com. The central location, close to restaurants for dinner, suited us, though the reviews we’d read beforehand were mostly very negative and talked about a 200 baht charge per towel for stains. At check-in nothing seemed wrong, and reception staff were attentive and provided standard service. Still, we were a little concerned, so we filmed check-in, inspected all the linens before entering the room, and waited until after both nights to check out. We had no trouble with staff charging us for stains, since we hadn’t caused any. For the low price, the stay was excellent value and breakfast was included: dumplings one day, then noodle soup with fruit, coffee, and boiled eggs the next. If you’re not too picky, it’s a great, worthwhile option.

There’s plenty of parking, and the room was clean with nice service. It’s also an easy walk from the train station and close to the morning market if you want to try local food.

The hotel employees were friendly, smiling, and welcoming, and the price felt fair for what you get. I stayed two nights. I was a little disappointed not to receive the room shown on the Agoda website, but the room I got was still good and very clean. Everything worked fine, including the air conditioning, TV, and outlets. The shower had no hot water during my stay. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the city center and 25 minutes on foot to the train station.

The rooms were okay, and the air conditioning worked and kept the rain out, but this was the most relentlessly mediocre hotel we’ve stayed in across Thailand. It wasn’t bad, just felt like nobody had put in any effort. Breakfast was undrinkable coffee and some toast. There are certainly better options in town.

Our group of 10 had a smooth, efficient check-in, and the staff were pleasant. The hotel has a nice design, it was clean, and there was plenty of parking. My King Room with Balcony was a good size and had a large bathroom; everything worked okay. It was excellent value for money. Breakfast could have been better, but at the rate we paid, I can’t really complain.
