Starwell Garden Home Resort

The place itself is beautiful, but the cottages are much tinier in person than they looked in the photos.

The rooms feel a little old, but the service from the maids and housekeeping staff was excellent. It stays peaceful and quiet, and the atmosphere is lovely, with fog around both day and night.

The exterior looks appealing, but the rooms need renovating. All four rooms behind the front desk had the same issues: they were dirty, dusty and moldy, and the blankets smelled. Each was 1,500 baht, with no breakfast included. I stayed at the end of October 2023.

For 1,750 on a Friday, I found the room below standard and not worth the price. There was no breakfast, and the room and bathroom felt old and musty. The air conditioner was old too, the mattress was hard, and the thin blankets looked worn.
