Crowne Plaza Phuket Panwa Beach

The staff were friendly, always ready to help and answer our questions. You can leave laundry at reception and collect it freshly done 24 hours later. The rooms are very large, clean, and well equipped, and the pool looks fantastic, though it was smaller than it appeared online. We didn't swim in it, and there was a strong chlorine smell. The location is okay if you get a scooter or use Grab with a car to get around, but there isn't much within walking distance. There are two or three good restaurants nearby. It's the viral Tik Tok Hotel, and I'd say it's worth a two- or three-night stay if you mainly want to relax.

We had a lovely stay. The lobby is stunning, and the hotel has plenty of excellent facilities, including a splash pool bar that was our favorite. It may be a little more suited to business travelers than holidaymakers. The bay views are beautiful, and having breakfast in the main restaurant while watching the sunrise was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Nut at the Mosaic (restaurant) made every meal memorable, and the whole team was friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. It's a really nice location away from the tourist trail, making it a pleasant private getaway. If you want nightlife right outside the hotel, it might not suit you. I highly recommend the Phuket Panwa Beachfront Resort for a quieter stay.

The staff were friendly and did what they could, but the hotel needs a lot of work. There’s barely any sand on the beach, maybe 2m, then it turns to clay, and the water isn’t clear. The location is a real drawback too, since it’s far away and trips charge extra for pickup. The sun loungers had bird droppings on them every day and the cushions were torn. Towels weren’t changed daily, and the loose sink leaked underneath when used. The mosque nearby woke us at 5 each morning with the call to prayer. This feels more like a 3+ star hotel than a 5-star one.
