The room was comfortable, spacious, quiet, and had a nice hill view, with a good mattress. We were there from 13-15 February for two nights, arriving around 10:00 PM after flight delays. The building is grand, large and white, with traditional woodwork in the lobby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were polite, but not especially warm or informative. No one explained where the pool was or covered its hours and other facilities, which seemed lacking for a five-star property. They also required a 1,000 baht cash deposit, awkward when we were heading straight to the airport at checkout. A card hold would have been better. We’d booked twin beds by mistake. Reception pointed out that this was what we’d booked, fairly enough, but didn’t check whether a double bed upgrade was available. They offered to push the beds together instead. There were shampoo and shower gel, but no conditioner, just one towel per person, and only two bottles of water each day. More towels would be useful at a beach destination, and four bottles of water would make sense in Phuket’s heat. There was a slight damp smell at first, probably from the wood interiors, but it went away once the AC was on. Housekeeping was basic: the bed wasn’t fully remade the next day, and towels weren’t replenished. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. The buffet looked large, but lots of food was cold, items weren’t refilled promptly, glasses and bowls were sometimes missing, and the restaurant staff seemed disengaged. Ordering online through Grab gives better prices, more variety, and better deals than room service, in my experience. Breakfast needs work for a five-star hotel. The hotel is peaceful, and many tours, including our Phi Phi Island trip, pick up from there, which was handy. It’s a little far from Phuket Old Town, and Grab can be hard to find. Try Bolt if Grab doesn’t work. There’s an ATM right outside, but Thai ATMs charge 200 baht (about AUD 12) per transaction whatever the withdrawal amount, so take out a larger amount to avoid paying the fee more than once. The building and room were good and we were comfortable. Better breakfast, warmer service, a welcome drink, a clearer introduction to the facilities, and more water would make a big difference.

The team at the travel desk deserves special thanks. They helped arrange our day trips and their local knowledge made exploring Phuket much easier and stress-free. All through our visit, the staff were kind and helpful, making sure we had what we needed. The Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chao Fah was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The pool area is beautiful, and the bar service there was excellent. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with lovely views of the pool and sea. Breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of choice, fresh options, and tasty local dishes. The location worked perfectly: close to the beach, shops, and restaurants but still peaceful enough to relax. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and the little touches in the room made the stay feel special. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket.

Everything was great, especially the staff, who were polite and helped us with our accommodation. The food we ordered through room service was amazing, and Yoshii, Kran, Lob and lalah were all wonderful. Our room was cleaned every day, breakfast was pretty good, and the huge pool and convenient fitness room were real pluses. Finding a taxi could be a little difficult because the hotel is on a boulevard, but it wasn’t a major problem since they can book one for a fair price. I definitely recommend staying at Ramada plaza. The staff were the most amazing everrrrr!

There’s only one pool, but it’s nice and private. It does look onto a large commercial building, though, which takes away from the beauty. I’m guessing that building wasn’t there when the hotel was first built. They also have a free movie night on Friday and Saturday with popcorn, but we were too tired and missed it. The design and decor are lovely and work well together, giving the hotel a relaxing feel. We were very happy with the service. Nearly every time we needed help, staff responded promptly, and everyone was polite and friendly. They treated us personally, unlike another place where we felt like just another number. We were very happy here. After staying at another five-star hotel in a different area, this one was way above it in virtually every way. I’d definitely recommend it.
