I've stayed at three different hotels across my three trips to Dili, and Timor Plaza Hotel is the best in my view. It's connected directly to the plaza and business center, and not far from the airport. The staff are quite good and all seem to work hard to give the best service. The room was fairly clean and spacious, with a large seating area beside the bed. Opening the window just showed a wall, though the restaurant has a nice view. I also loved the health drinks, made on site with fresh ingredients, including peeled ginger. If I return to Dili, I'll definitely stay here again.

The staff made my short stay memorable, responding quickly to every request and question with warmth and professionalism. It was clear they take pride in their work and in representing Timor-Leste. Suresh (Hotel Operations Manager), Jefri, Virginia, Irenia, Zidanio, and Daniel all showed real sincerity and professionalism. Thank you. I stayed at Timor Plaza Hotel from 25-27 March 2026. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dili.

Some of the design choices seem odd, especially the rooms that face a wall directly opposite. Even so, this may be the most comfortable and safest place to stay in Dili.
