Eden Yasmine Resort & Spa

I just got back from a long weekend and loved it. I came on my own and was a bit nervous, but everyone was welcoming. The staff were excellent and lovely to chat with. I also had a great spa session, and the ladies there were really lovely.

We’d read reviews about things being stolen from rooms, rude staff, and ants, which put us off at first, but none of that happened to us. We loved it and would definitely return. The food was perfect with loads of options, and the restaurant staff were so kind. The bar staff and cleaners were friendly too. Amir at reception helped with our suitcases and made our holiday one of the best. He was funny and got us anything we needed. Rocky was the entertainer we spoke to most. He made us laugh and helped us with anything we needed. The whole team deserves a pay rise. Just be careful if you have allergies, since the spoons and tongs are used for everything.

The stay itself was good, and the staff were very friendly. But on our last day we had an early flight and nobody was available in the kitchen to provide breakfast. We’d also paid for a private airport transfer, then got picked up in a dirty yellow local taxi. It was appalling. I’m so disappointed and disgusted.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a holiday or even a short stay. I started wondering whether the positive reviews were genuine after my first night, when I went into the bathroom in the morning and found ants everywhere. We asked to move rooms, and luckily they changed it. The kids’ club was a failure too, with ants everywhere there as well. The whole hotel was terribly dirty, and the food was a disaster. It was old and clearly reheated from several days earlier, so dry. We booked seven nights but left after four because it was impossible to relax. We ate out. I do not recommend staying here. Never.
