Hotel Marina Palace

The rooms were clean and well kept, and housekeeping were friendly, respectful, and did a good job each day. That part saved the stay. I was here for a week all-inclusive, and travel often enough to know hotel standards. Some buffet days were genuinely great and others just average. It’s alright for Tunisia, but not five-star food, and after a few days I wanted more variety. The all-inclusive drinks were a big letdown: just Coke, juice, coffee, and water. No cocktails or fresh drinks. Most staff were hardworking and friendly, but the receptionists were rude and dismissive, making check-in and questions feel like a chore. The main pool was dirty most of the time, and at one point someone actually pooped in it. There’s a covered indoor pool on the third floor, but stairs are easier than the elevator. The beach is a long way off, dirty, poorly maintained, and had no chairs, so the walk wasn’t worth it. Strangers who weren’t all-inclusive guests kept asking my little brother for water bottles and then got too comfortable. The entertainment seemed aimed strictly at older tourists, with outdated music and no real activities for teens or kids. There was no energy, nobody my age, just quiet retirees and lots of older men around. Don’t be fooled by the four-star label, it felt barely three-star. If you get a cheap deal and only need a clean place to sleep with decent food, it works. For good vibes, a fun atmosphere, proper all-inclusive service, or a quality beach, look elsewhere.

The food was horrible, cold, and seemed to be the same leftovers for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were disgusting to stay in. This place doesn’t even deserve one star.

I had a problem with the agency over the room I originally booked. The hotel staff first confirmed the full refund by phone and email, including the cancellation, but then the agency told me the hotel had refused to approve it. It wasn’t my fault, and it ruined my holiday. You guys are unreliable.

I had a terrible experience here. The rooms were dirty and old, with no renovation, and the air conditioning didn't work. Honestly, it's the worst hotel I've stayed in, and I wouldn't recommend it.
