Residence Chatt Kantaoui

This was a completely negative experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the apartment. It took three hours to get confirmation, and after several calls to Booking.com to try to sort it out, we found the place extremely dirty and smelly, and completely run down. There wasn’t even a blanket for us to use at night. The manager was extremely rude.

A few minutes on foot gets you to Port El Kantaoui marina, where you can walk by the boats and enjoy the maritime atmosphere. I’ve stayed several times at this charming holiday residence in Port El Kantaoui (Sousse), booked through Airbnb, and can highly recommend it. The U-shaped complex feels pleasant and open. Security is there all the time, discreetly but reassuringly. The residence is just steps from the fine sandy beach, with the waves always in the background. There’s a small, cozy café right on the beach, nothing fancy, but a nice place to sit with a coffee and enjoy the sea view. Everyday needs are easy to sort out, with a small supermarket and bakery within walking distance. The supermarket also delivers. I sent the owner a shopping list over WhatsApp for water and a few other things, and my order arrived ten minutes later. Delivery was just four dinars, plus the cost of the items. There’s a currency exchange office nearby, and BIAT Bank is across the street. It’s a quiet, well-maintained resort, suited to anyone after a few restful days by the sea while still having practical amenities close by.

A clean, well-kept residence close to everything, just a 5 minutes walk away. Great place for a peaceful holiday.
