The food was very good, fresh and carefully done, well above the standard hotel meals I’ve had in much of the region. Our room was spotless, comfortable and clearly looked after. What really struck me was the setting. You walk through an unassuming door and suddenly find palm trees, heated pools and quiet corners in the middle of Tozeur. It feels peaceful without being dull, and polished without feeling pretentious. The staff were warm, attentive and consistently helpful from the start. Dar Tozeur exceeded my expectations, and I found it beautifully designed, relaxing and very well run.

We came in from the big old hotel entrance and were amazed by the look of the restored historic building. Ada was the best service man we’ve ever met, and we’ll be coming back to „ Ada“. We visited from 25.11.-27.11.2025 and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you so much. 🩷🩷🩷

We had a great stay, and Issam gave a wonderful massage. The hotel is really beautiful, with a spectacular setting and lovely pools. Breakfast was very good, served by the pool in the shade of the palms, and the staff were very kind and attentive. Thanks!

The hotel’s character is what stayed with me: elegance, local authenticity and a peaceful atmosphere, with a distinctive charm in every corner. I felt at home while still connected to the local spirit. The staff made the stay special from the moment I arrived. They welcomed me warmly and were attentive, helpful and always smiling. I also used the hotel’s extended team, including a private tour guide and a massage therapist arranged through the hotel. Both were outstanding and added a lot to the experience. My stay at Dar Tozeur was unforgettable. It’s a comfortable place with a caring team, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury alongside authenticity.

The food was great at both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were friendly and polite. The hotel and its facilities were fantastic. We should have booked more than one day. Don’t miss it!
