Palm Beach Palace Tozeur

The pools are beautiful, and the hotel feels lovely and comfortable. Our guide called it a three star place, but I don't agree.

The grounds and main areas of the hotel look lovely, but the rooms are dated and smell musty. There aren't many in room amenities, and the beds were very hard.

The price is far too high for what you get. Three stars at half the price would feel fair, and the place needs a full makeover, including the staff and food selection. It doesn't feel like a five star hotel, three stars at most. Things were broken or dirty, and service was poor. When I asked for a towel at the pool, staff told me to take one from my room, then I ended up lying on a broken chair. And the food was another problem.

The building is beautiful and looks like the photos, but it feels worn out. The rooms had no wifi, the towels were stained, the food was poor, and the beach chairs were broken. Those were just a few of the issues during our three night stay. Maybe it's fine for one night while passing through, but staying longer isn't the holiday you'd expect. This might have been a five star hotel 10-15 years ago, though today it feels like three stars at best. Even with realistic expectations from the reviews, we were still disappointed.
