Lac Leman

The bathroom was filthy, with rust on the aluminum handles and little black spots in the corners of the shower enclosure. The room was dusty too, and it hadn't been vacuumed. Service was bad. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, especially since you can find a cheaper hotel.

After I checked out, the hotel charged my credit card without my permission. When I raised it with them, they brushed it off as a staff mistake and still didn't properly cancel the payment. The facilities were poorly maintained, and the staff's response was just as bad. I said I would give them the lowest rating on Google, and all they said was, “Welcome.” This was one of my worst hotel experiences. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stay away if you care about your money and peace of mind.

I stayed one night in August and barely got any sleep because the room stayed hot. The air conditioning hardly worked and was blowing hot air. When I called, they told me to wait a few hours. I called again when nothing had changed, and they offered another room with the same air conditioning problem.

My flight was canceled, so I booked one night at Lac Leman Hotel in Tunisia through a booking site before flying out the next day. I expected something decent from a four-star hotel, but the room was dreadful, with no amenities, and I felt completely unimportant as a local Tunisian. Honestly, I wouldn't give the place even one star. The booking was for one night, but because of an error on the hotel's part, they insisted I had to book two. When I asked the booking website to fix the reservation, the hotel refused to make any changes. The reservation manager ignored me when I tried to speak with him. A little courtesy would have made a difference, but I was met with indifference and arrogance. The staff were rude and showed no empathy or professionalism. I work in hospitality and have traveled widely, staying at luxury and lifestyle hotels in many countries. Even with language barriers, I've received much better service elsewhere. Lac Leman fell far short of basic hospitality. Its four-star rating doesn't reflect the lack of professionalism, helpfulness, or decent treatment I experienced. I'd advise others to stay somewhere else. This was horrible.
