The staff were friendly, but for 9,000 Turkish Lira a night I expected much more. Day visitors paid around 600 Turkish Lira for the full day and could use the same facilities, so the price difference was hard to justify. The hotel’s public beach was crowded even on a Monday, with loud music and much less space than the photos suggested. It was difficult to relax. Getting there took a while: a 30-minute ferry from Bostancı to Mavi Marmara, then another boat to the hotel dock. I accepted the trip as part of visiting the island. The deluxe room had a Jacuzzi, but that didn’t make the rate feel worthwhile. Though the pictures showed a chimney, our room didn’t have one. It was also smaller than my friend’s room, despite us paying the same rate for the same category. The only coffee provided was Nescafé “3 in 1,” not the Nespresso machine I’d expect at this price. I was at the beach from 7 AM, before employees began cleaning around 8 AM. There were sea moss, ants, and bugs in the sand, plus glasses and trash left in the corners after the previous night’s party. The beach itself was poorly maintained, and the bar, showers, and toilets looked like they needed renovation and redecorating. Food was another disappointment. The restaurant meals were subpar, and the included breakfast was poor too, which is unusual for Turkey, where I usually find the food excellent. I’d expected a five-star stay based on the Google Maps photos and the rate, but the experience fell short. I could have paid a similar amount for real luxury elsewhere, such as Bodrum. Management should rethink how the high prices match what guests receive.

We liked the beach enough to come back for a second visit. It was clean, very nice, and the staff were friendly. There are a few little rocks at the entrance, then it’s sandy. And the tiny fish were so beautiful!

We came over from Istanbul for the day. The ferry takes about two hours total and the ride was smooth, with everything running on time. From the island’s main ferry port, the beach offers a free boat pickup and drop-off. The beach is pleasant, but it gets crowded, so arriving early is a good idea. The water is shallow, so don’t expect much of a swimming experience. For 35 for two people, the price is reasonable and includes sunbeds, a shower, and changing rooms. Service was great and the food was decent. The main downside was the very loud music. They also advertise a luxury hotel, but with the busy beach and music noise, it’s hard to see the value. Still, we had a nice beach day.

We had a great time and would definitely come back. The room felt dreamy and peaceful, was super clean, and had an amazing view. Service and staff behavior were 10/10. We really enjoyed the Turkish breakfast too. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻❤️
