I was unsure after reading so many reviews, but decided to give it a try and booked a 3-day deluxe room with a terrace. We had a breathtaking view of the endless sea and Istanbul, and seagulls kept coming to our terrace. The room was spacious, pleasant, and very clean. It had a mini-fridge, heater, coffee, and everything we needed in the bathroom. I didn't run into the cleanliness problems mentioned in some reviews. When it got dirty, they cleaned it as soon as we asked. The staff were helpful from the moment we arrived and very attentive throughout. The boiler on our terrace broke down, and although it took a while to fix, they immediately offered us two other rooms. We weren't left stranded. It's an elegant, spacious hotel, and being close to the pier is another plus. Don't put too much stock in the reviews, I'd recommend trying it at least once. Breakfast by the sea was lovely, and it was included in the price. The location was very central, and the view from our balcony was magnificent. With its colorful flowers, the endless sea, and ships passing by, the balcony felt nostalgic and beautiful. We could watch the sunrise over the water, and it was a worthwhile experience. The room was very small, but adequate. I treated myself to a one-night island stay for my birthday and booked through ETS for 4000 TL, payable in about three installments. The cleanliness could have been better, as there was hair everywhere and it made me uncomfortable. Still, the view made it worth it, and I'd stay again if I returned. I just wish they paid a little more attention to cleaning.

The sea view is fantastic, but that's about the only good thing. The deluxe room I booked was tiny, breakfast was very, very poor, and I suspect the restaurant brings in more money than the hotel. The cooling barely worked, hot water was weak, and the mini-fridge was awful. Everything else was terrible. I wouldn't stay here even for free.

I couldn't sleep, with staff constantly going up and down the broken iron stairs and the fan making noise. Our room was under the kitchen stairs, and there's no ventilation system. There are windows, but they seem more like stork nests than proper ventilation openings. They kept the entertainment going until 1 AM, and customer service was zero. It was a complete disaster of a night, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I absolutely don't recommend it.
