There’s lots of kitesurfing nearby, so it’s a great spot if you like activities. Joy’s place also has kayaks and bikes to borrow. It’s in a beautiful town, not far from the beach, and Joy was a fantastic host who made sure all our needs were met. We’ll be back next year. Thanks so much.

We only came as guests for kayaking and lunch, not to stay overnight. Joy made us feel at home and followed our kayaks by boat, helping us find a hidden beach where swimming was fantastic. Paddling along the river toward the sea was incredible, with clear water, eucalyptus scents, and birds to watch. When we came back, we had a delicious lunch of homemade food. Joy has plenty of rooms for a comfortable, quiet atmosphere. He’s an Ironman and triathlon coach, so you can ask him for advice on active holidays. I recommend staying here and planning an activity day in Akyaka.

The owners and staff are polite, helpful, and friendly, and their main aim is to help you relax. They’ll do what’s needed to make that happen. Take a canoe trip down the river from their dock. You can go to the place called Amazon, with its ice-cold spring water, or keep paddling to the beach where the river meets the sea. It’s a hidden gem you’ll love. Guaranteed! This is one of the most wonderful places to stay in the area.

The view is beautiful, right on the river, and the place is very clean and comfortable. The family who owns it are easygoing and down to earth. Mr. Kıvanç, the owner, is a triathlete and an absolute legend, and they have all the equipment you need to train or just keep in shape. Glad I found this hidden gem.
