The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the gardens and pool outside were lush, lovely, and relaxing. But the rooms were nothing like the pictures. They were small, shabby, and worn, with holes from hooks and rails patched up haphazardly. There were unpainted patches in the living room too, and it wasn't what we expected. At £130 a night in Turkey, I felt seriously ripped off. My son also got an electric shock from loose wiring in the bedroom bedside lights, a health hazard that needs fixing. We left after four nights when we found somewhere much nicer and cheaper.

The family running the hotel are lovely, and the place is quite nice and well looked after. The beach is among the farthest points from the hotel, but distances around here are short, and the walk by the river is cool. We were generally very satisfied.

It was perfect, with a totally private two-bedroom apartment, a bathroom, kitchen with everything you need to cook, and a living room. There are two balconies and a table outside on the balcony for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The property has two pools and several patios where people can gather, plus lots of spots to choose from for your own comfort. If we go back to Muğla, we know where to stay.

The people were very welcoming and the room was really nice for the two nights I stayed. The only concern was that the AC was a little loud, so four stars.
