It’s a lovely, leafy place, and the staff are friendly. But some Russian girls were blasting their own music and eating in the pool, which I found disgusting. I came with my boyfriend to enjoy a swim, but they seemed to take over the pool. The hotel itself is very nice, so it’s a pity, but I’m not sure I’d return.

The place itself was clean and pleasant, and the prices seemed reasonable. The food was average, nothing bad but nothing special either. What spoiled our evening was the way service worked in our group of two men and two women. I felt overlooked the whole time, as though the staff only took orders and responded when the men spoke. It was uncomfortable and made me feel disrespected. Every guest deserves the same attention, whatever company they’re with. I hope management addresses this, because it really affects the experience.

The music stays easygoing and at a level where you can talk without shouting over your fries. If there’s a party, you might want to join in. The views across the pier and peninsula are great, and the place has just enough buzz without getting chaotic. It’s a relaxed little oasis for swimming, sunbathing, or having a drink. I didn’t try the cocktails, but people on the beach say they’re pretty good. We chose the beach area rather than the pool, and the crew there were spot on: friendly, knew what they were doing, and actually smiled while working. Kaan, Mert, Güner, Muhammed, and Yılmaz were all legends. Neither the staff nor the other guests were intrusive, if you know what I mean. It’s a beach club, so the menu is mostly tasty finger food, from pizza to burgers. The portions were filling, and I thought the prices were fair. Cleopatra has the better sandy beach, but this one is much less crowded and has an easy way into the water. There’s also a pool for anyone who’d rather swim in fresh water, plus parking. It’s easy to find, too. Would I recommend it? Yep. The private pier, sweet pool, and kind English-speaking staff make for a good day out. And to some of the questionable comments: take a breath, put the phone down, and chill. You’re on holiday, for god’s sake.
