Sukru Bey Apart Hotel

It’s good because it used to be my home.

Good.

We had a great time here. The place has been recently renovated and is lovely and clean, with a new kitchen and appliances, comfortable mattresses, and brand-new plumbing. There’s a TV and high-speed Wi-Fi too. We enjoyed the pool and loungers, and it felt well worth the money. We were on the top floor with a stunning view. The sea is 300-400 meters away, everything else is walkable, and there’s a large store right next door. We loved it!

We only expected a clean room, but it was so filthy that we couldn’t even bathe there and had to wash at the beach. There were clumps of hair and sand in the bathroom, the toilet was full of urine, and the beds looked so dirty we slept with towels over them. In the morning we asked them to clean, and were told, “That’s all you’ll get for this price.” We were shocked and explained that all we wanted was basic cleanliness. When we came back at night, the room still hadn’t been cleaned properly. They removed some hair from the shower, but everything else was still filthy. We had to ask for sheets and put them on the beds ourselves. Cleanliness is a matter of faith, apparently. The service was bad, and so was the way they treated us. It was a waste of every penny. Two friends couldn’t get a room here and stayed in the apartment next door for the same price. They got much better service, clean rooms, and a bathroom they could actually use to bathe. I’m going to complain elsewhere too.
