Hotel Rumana

For the price, the hotel itself was fine, clean, with a nice pool and good breakfast. What made the stay difficult was the woman at reception, who seemed unable to welcome guests, smile, or follow up even simple requests. The minibar wasn't working and still had food left by the previous guest. I asked her four times to sort it out, with no luck. Fortunately, Mr Ali on the night shift was kind and professional and fixed it in five minutes. We left a day early and didn't request a refund, but management insisted on paying us back. When the woman was at reception and gave us the money, she tried to return less than we'd paid. We caught it, of course. Thank you.

We got out as soon as we could. The reception person could use a stronger customer service approach, as other reviewers have mentioned. On the phone we were told laundry was possible, but after we arrived they said they already had too much washing and couldn't do it. In mid-June the pool was green, and we were told it couldn't be used. You have a long walk or drive to get food or reach the beach. Families should know the so-called family room has just two beds and isn't comfortable. The shower head fell while my child was getting out. The thick blankets felt as stiff as curtains. If you're staying more than one night, I'd look elsewhere.

The owner and staff were really kind, and the hotel is close to the beach. It was a good stay, though there are a few things lacking. The pool is small.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was large and had a pool, and breakfast was good. Awesome hotel, I'd absolutely recommend it!
