Angora House Hotel - Special Class

Inside the Ankara Castle walls, in the old sector, this is a romantic, well-kept guest house with five rooms. Our room was small, with a queen-sized bed, TV, enclosed cloth closets, comfort chairs, and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. Dark-brown tinted wood was used for the floors, ceilings, doors, and frames. Breakfast came with our reservation and was great. It was a typical türkisch breakfast, with tea or coffee, egg, sausage, juice, cheese, jam, potatoes, olives, and bread. There was more than enough to get us through the first half of the day.

The owners were kind and helpful, and breakfast was fresh. It's not hard to find, and there are shops outside where you can pick up snacks. The place feels like a time capsule. Some people might call it gaudy, but to me it brought back a simpler time, maybe the 80s, and reminded me of my gramma's house. I liked it.

3.11.2019. The design is beautiful, and the location in the fortress area puts you close to museums, including anatolian cultures and Koc. The area is quiet at night, and breakfast was tasty. I'd give those parts 5 stars, and the location and design even 6. But the Wi-Fi is really poor and often cuts out, and soundproofing from reception and other rooms is very bad. They should also have at least one international TV Channel.

It was hard to find the place, but I loved everything else. The area was beautiful, peaceful, and full of life. The hotel manger and the two kids with him were amazing 😍😍😍 I loved them.
