Business Park Hotel

Right in the middle of Ankara, this is a very nice hotel. The staff are friendly and do all they can to help, and the rooms are clean. There are nice restaurants nearby, too. We took the family suite, which had plenty of space. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was very good, and the man looking after the restaurant was lovely, which earned the hotel two extra stars from me. The room, though, was a mess in several ways: the carpet beside the bed was dirty, and there was only one bath towel and one coffee for two people. I also saw a woman take at least 30 little packets of Nutella, honey, and butter from the restaurant, and some people took boiled eggs and other breakfast items too. It's pathetic to stoop that low. I stayed here a few years ago and it was okay then, with no cigarette smell, and the manager was nice. Coming back last night was the worst experience. We were given a ninth-floor terrace room that smelled so strongly of smoke it made me sick. I now have trouble breathing and chest pain. It felt like someone had been smoking in the room constantly. I told the man at the desk several times, but he didn't even offer another room. The heater didn't work either. I had to ask for help, and although he tried to tell me it was working, he eventually brought a portable heater. The doors say “No Smoking,” but people still smoke inside, even after hotel staff tell them not to. The hotel needs to address this quickly. I won't come back unless I can get a room that smells fresh. I noticed that all the other customers were from Arab countries, and unfortunately people from there mostly smoke. Because of these ignorant people, the hotel suffers the consequences.

Before booking, be careful. The room lights were barely working, the mini-fridge was broken, and the rooms were in very poor, unclean condition. The beds weren't okay, especially if you have back pain. Wi-Fi in the rooms kept cutting out, and almost none of the staff spoke English. These are just a few things from my own stay. I read plenty of reviews that persuaded me to book, but it wasn't at all what I expected.

There were cockroaches and mosquitoes all over the rooms, and the air conditioning didn't work anywhere in the hotel. It was hot and noisy at night, so sleeping was difficult. The room wasn't clean, and the receptionists weren't friendly or helpful. Worst hotel I've stayed at in Turkey.
