The biggest problem during my stay has been the water. It stopped running in the toilet yesterday evening and didn’t come back until about 2:00 AM. I looked it up later and it seems there’s a wider water issue in this part of Ankara, but the hotel should still have had some backup plan if it knows this can happen. Even stored water or a temporary arrangement would have helped. When I told reception, the staff member just said, “It will come.” There was no real explanation, apology, reassurance, or alternative. I was left wondering if I was supposed to wait past midnight just to flush or wash. That lack of care was really disappointing for a place taking payment for guests’ basic needs. I’m still staying here for two more days, so this is an ongoing stay, not a one-night review. The late check-in at around 1:00 AM went smoothly, and I appreciated that. Breakfast is decent, nothing special, but fine. At roughly USD 50 a night, the room itself is fair for the price. The bathroom, though, is clearly old, and its stiff door is awkward to use.

My family and I spent a full week here. The hotel has a cozy, welcoming feel, and the rooms have a friendly design. The service was warm and the staff were helpful.

The location made getting to the metro and city centre difficult, and breakfast wasn't good. In the room, the air-conditioning didn't work and it was really cold. The rooms weren't clean either, and the shower was broken. I wouldn't recommend it, it felt like a waste of money.

I didn't feel safe or respected here, and there was no sense of responsibility or care. I left money in my wallet in the locked room, where it stayed throughout the trip, and only noticed it was gone after I got home. I don't usually open my wallet, which is why I didn't realize sooner. When I called reception to ask whether anyone had gone into the room, the woman first said someone had. Then she acted as if she couldn't understand me and kept hanging up whenever I called back. It was disrespectful and unprofessional. The room was absurdly small, barely 4 square meters for two people, and the bathroom was in terrible shape, visibly damaged and unhygienic. I'm usually not fussy about hotels, but this was one of the worst stays I've had. I'd tell people to stay elsewhere if they care about their belongings and peace of mind.

What stood out most was how trustworthy and helpful the staff were. A few times we left gold in the room, and after housekeeping had been through, it was still untouched. When we called for anything, the staff cooperated and provided it. Sarab, the woman in charge of the restaurant and breakfast, was especially friendly. I spent 16 days here across three room types: four days in a queen-size room, seven in the hotel's largest suite, and five in a regular triple room. There were a few small room issues, but the heating worked very well. Breakfast was excellent and complete. The building may look average, but the people made the stay feel special. It's also well connected to central Ankara and Kizilaya Square. I recommend it.
