Center Room Hotel

I come to Ankara every three months, and the staff here are very good and polite. But the rooms need more frequent cleaning and a thorough disinfection. There are too many cupboards nobody uses, so there should be more open space. Sheets, pillowcases, and towels need to be washed and ironed daily, and rooms should be cleaned every day. More room cleaners are needed, and the owner should replace some of the old sheets, towels, and pillows to improve the service. I think room prices could go up by 20% to cover these investments. Consider it, since this is a large hotel with plenty of capacity. Doing this would make customers more satisfied and increase bookings.

Nice place, nice staff.

I stayed from Friday until Sunday morning. The rooms are very spacious, and there are basic kitchen appliances like a washing machine and stove for longer stays, as shown in the photos. The rooms were extremely hot the whole time, so I kept the window open. There are two worn cupboards, and there was something on the bed that bothered me, though it wasn’t a cleanliness issue and may just have seemed strange to me. I couldn’t sit on the red armchair because it upset my stomach. That’s the only downside I can mention. The location is central, on the main street. When I mentioned Demetevler, taxi drivers said things like, “But you shouldn’t go there.” There’s a taxi stand near the metro and a cafe-style place right below. There are also lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants on the main street if you have business nearby. I ordered food from outside on the first day because I didn’t know the area. On the second day I tried to order to the room before checking out, but they probably were busy and couldn’t deliver, so I ordered from outside again while I was getting ready. I had only two bottles of shampoo, with no shower gel or toothpaste. I hadn’t run into that shortage before when dealing with other people. I just needed my toothbrush, then bought toothpaste and shower gel from Gratis on the street. The internet worked fine, and QR codes behind the door made it quick to connect to Wi-Fi, contact reception, or see the downstairs cafe menu. There was a cleaning cart on every floor during my stay, taking up a bit of space. The place was clean, and I didn’t notice any lack of cleanliness. I’d consider staying here again if I needed to.
