Grand Hamit Hotel

The hotel café had very good coffee, and the food was great too. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. It's about 10 minutes from downtown. I'll definitely come back.

I was a bit apprehensive about Ankara and how I'd be received as a foreigner, but Grand Hamit made me feel very welcome. The staff and managers were kind and did a lot to help, even when we ran into a language barrier. The place was clean, the atmosphere was calm, and the hospitality was really good. I'd recommend it twice over.

Everyone was friendly and ready to help, from the reservation manager to the receptionists. When a problem came up, the team dealt with it quickly and efficiently. I really appreciate their warm hospitality and professional service.

The breakfast was poor, with the same fried potatoes, grilled vegetables, bacon, and cheese every day. We had to take out our own garbage, and the cleaner only came when we asked. Even then, they just made the beds and didn't clean anything else. The lights weren't working, and the elevator wouldn't bring our suitcases down, so we had to carry them downstairs ourselves without any help from the staff. The toilet and shower overflowed, and we had to mop up the water with a towel. The staff spoke only Turkish, as far as we could tell, so we communicated using Google Translate. A big disappointment. The staff were rude and not helpful at all.
