Downtown Ankara Hotel

The pool was great, 15m long with three lanes, and after 7pm there was almost nobody there. It closes at 21:00, though I can't say how busy it gets between 9:30-19:00. Breakfast was very good, with the usual options plus some Turkish food. The tahini roll was great. I stayed a week, so I got a fairly good overview. The location worked well according to the local colleagues I visited, near the metro and not too far from the older parts of the city. My room and bed were comfortable, and the hotel was very clean overall, though the carpet showed some wear. When the floor's aircon broke, they immediately offered another room or a heater. Service was excellent and the staff very friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

I was there for four business nights with a group of colleagues. The hotel sits in a busy part of Ankara's new downtown, which is a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had lots of good options for different tastes. The rooms were fair, though I didn't find the bed very comfortable.

They returned my laundry perfectly the same day. When I arrived at 4am, there was a leak in the passageway ceiling, but it was fixed quickly. The room itself was basic, and the bed felt a little hard. Breakfast was quite complete and the service was good, though I thought it was expensive. Adequate hotel.

I was on a tiring business trip and needed to sleep, but loud techno from a nearby club kept me awake for half the night, even though it was a regular workday. I asked for a quieter room, and they turned me down, saying the hotel was fully booked.
