The rooms were warm and comfortable, with hot water always available, and the staff made us feel welcome. My brother and I stayed here for our gendarmerie interviews, and getting to the interview location was easy because it was so close. There was also a market right across from the guesthouse, along with a kebab shop called Canberk and a barber called Taner. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The radiator got so hot it caught fire in the morning, and the heat kept me awake. I was in a second-floor room that was in terrible shape. There were no windows in either the room or the toilet, and the place wasn't clean at all. Hair was all over the place. Find somewhere else if you've got any sense.

Three hours went by while we waited for a man to sort out a room, and the prices already seemed high for the area. We were told at arrival that check-in was at 1 PM, then made three separate trips to ask about a vacant room. Each time they said the rooms were being cleaned and told us to return at 1. When they said someone was coming, we were left waiting, and staff kept heading outside to deal with other things. I wouldn't recommend it. Save your money and don't put yourself through this.

Take the 193 bus and you can get off right in front of the gendarmerie station, so you don't need to accept this sort of deal. My friend and I had arranged a two-person room before heading there, and they confirmed the price when we asked. At the hotel, they put us in a four-person room with two other people, then raised the price a lot. They said there weren't any closer hotels. I'd look elsewhere.
