The Park Hotel Ankara

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were good. It's a small hotel, but neat and clean, right in the city center.

We paid £44 for a suite, with Turkish breakfast included, and the room was spacious with a really comfortable bed. After two other Ankara hotels turned us away because my partner and I aren't married, this place took us in. We'd first been told by another hotel that it would be fine, but after arriving there in the dark and rain, we were refused and sent here. Thank goodness they did. We had a reasonably priced evening meal with live entertainment, and there's a taxi stop right outside. The broken window wouldn't close properly, so cigarette smoke came in from outside, which was unpleasant for non-smokers. People were also smoking inside the restaurant while we ate dinner.

The one thing I'd change is the shower drainage, since water seeps out onto the floor when you use it. Otherwise, I thought the hotel was excellent, and I'd definitely return on another stay in Ankara. It's clean and feels safe, the price is reasonable, and the buffet breakfast is good quality. There are restaurants nearby, along with a taxi stand and buses, and the nearest metro is a 10-minute walk away. The reception guys were very polite and helpful. I recommend it. ⭐😊 🇹🇷

My wife's phone had died, and I didn't know how to get in touch with her. The front desk lady, who was working Monday around 9:00 am, spoke to my wife and let me know she was okay. I don't know her name, but she was so kind and helpful. Thank you so much.
