Maltepe Manhattan Hotel

For two nights last week, we were stuck in a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. It was overwhelming and never went away, making the whole stay uncomfortable. The rest of the staff were generally ill-behaved and unhelpful, so we wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who expects basic courtesy, professionalism or a clean environment. Before we arrived, I'd confirmed the room details and looked at photos of the exact room we were meant to get. Instead, they put us in a much smaller one, so cramped the cabinet door couldn't open all the way. When my husband raised this politely at reception, Mr. Farooq shouted at him and insisted it was the room shown in the listing. He was aggressive and dismissive, and rather than resolving the issue, they bullied us into staying there. It was a very disappointing experience.

I spent a week here with two friends and we had an amazing time. The staff were really kind and attentive. I'll definitely pick this place again on my next trip to Ankara. Five stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The employees were cheerful and really kind, and for the price this is probably the best value hotel in Ankara. I'll definitely come back. If you use Apple Maps, the location is wrong, so check Google Maps instead. You can get there easily. If you're new to the city, use martı tag for transport.

Friendly, helpful staff made this a really good experience. The hotel is convenient for both the city and the train station, and the price is good for what you get.
