Maya Apart Hotel

My room was spotless and even had a light perfume smell. They changed the sheets and pillowcases every day, which was easy to notice. Mr. Recep at reception took care of all my requests. Thanks for everything.

The rooms were comfortable, neat, and very clean, and the staff were mostly friendly. Yusuf Bey looked after us especially well. Bahçelievler is a great base, and being right on 7th Street in the cafe area meant we could walk to everything. We felt safe and comfortable here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ankara.

I've stayed in this apartment building three times, mainly because of the location and the big TV. This last visit was a mess. YouTube and Netflix weren't available on the TV, and the suite's boiler was broken. We didn't want to bother anyone at night, and the balcony where it was kept was locked, so there was nothing I could do. Then we found a carpet beetle larva coming out of the bed. In the morning I called the manager about the boiler, got put on hold, and nobody followed up. There was no one at reception either. I went out of my way to track down an employee who might be able to fix it, but they couldn't. They moved us to another apartment, where the bed base was broken and we had to lie with our heads down and feet raised. I don't want to harm anyone's livelihood, but this level of indifference and service shouldn't be acceptable. I hope they start doing their jobs properly and stop putting guests in this position. Unless you absolutely have to, stay away.

I've been here a long time for work, and I'd recommend it. The rooms are really clean, the hot water and sheets are all good, and my colleague Yusuf has been a big help. Thanks.
