Prestige Thermal Hotel Spa & Wellness

The people were smiley and friendly, the hotel was big, the facilities were good, and it was clean. The bed was amazing. But several things in the room were broken: the bathroom doors, the outside window, and the fridge, which didn't work properly. We were very hot because the air conditioning was broken. We also paid for tea, which is usually complimentary and in the room at big hotels, but the kettle was old and very dirty. Forget the food. Dinner and breakfast were horrible, with tiny portions, very little food, and no quality. They said there was a buffet, and we understand that part had to close during the pandemic, but they could at least have served better food in a decent amount. The bar and restaurant a la carte options didn't exist either. They only made cold sandwiches. If you want to order something, expect to rely on one or two nearby street restaurants. It's unacceptable for a good hotel to be so weak and terrible at restaurant and bar service.

Some of the facilities aren't working. The thermal pools for men and women are currently out of service. Women can use the women's thermal pool, but men can't use the thermal pool. The salt room and steam room are closed too. All these facilities still cost money, though. This isn't a 5-star hotel.

The room felt suffocating, and the air-conditioning barely worked. I couldn't open the window, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room either. When staff moved me to another room, they didn't apologize, and they weren't helpful. They spoke very little English.

I couldn't enjoy my meal 😒. Guests were walking around the small restaurant without masks, and the hotel wasn't enforcing mask use at all. They seemed to act like it was a normal time, even though it was during COVID.
