A welcome oasis amid the reconstruction zone. The renovation is recent, and the rooms are clean with plenty of hot water. WiFi is included and works well. Breakfast is a great Turkish spread, and the attached coffee shop is charming, with a full menu on par with Starbucks. I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere is pleasant and the room was mostly clean, but there were several problems. Music from the cafe was very loud in the evening and carried into the room until midnight, which made sleeping difficult. We came for a place to sleep and have breakfast, but weren’t lucky. Breakfast wasn’t ready at the promised time; we returned later and waited another 20 minutes with no change. We were in a hurry and had to leave without eating. The shower was barely warm in the evening and only got hot in the morning. The toilet paper rolls were just scraps, and a fresh roll would have been an easy thing to provide.

The restored building has lovely historic details, including an old baptismal font in the breakfast courtyard. It’s centrally located, very close to the old bazaar, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is a lovely taste of Antakya cuisine, and the attached cafe has a good selection of drinks. The staff were friendly and hugely helpful. Highly recommended, and I’d gladly stay again.
