Antalya Start Hotel

I come back twice each year, usually as my starting point for a winter holiday. The staff are friendly, and the location makes airport trips easy, including for late arrivals or early departures. It’s around a 20-minute taxi ride. Breakfast here beats what I had at some pricier hotels before I discovered Start.

The staff were so polite and helpful, and the service was the best. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I’d definitely stay again. Best regards, Victoria

The hotel is handy for shops, banks, transport, and trams, with a taxi rank outside. There are two lifts. In the room I had a fridge, kettle, TV, glasses, a safe, and air conditioning, and it was clean and usable. The building could use an update. The stair carpets looked very dirty and possibly hadn’t been changed since the hotel opened. Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10:30, but much of the food was cold. There was salad, melon, cold chips, boiled eggs, bread, and a few cakes. The coffee machine was there, but the juice machine wasn’t good.

We spent five nights here in early April 2025 and came away very happy. The hotel is well placed for pretty much everything, with a tram to the airport just outside and bus stops nearby serving the main parts of town. We could walk to the Old Town, New Town, and city lights. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the hill views were especially lovely in the morning. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly, particularly the man at reception. My only downside was that the room could do with brighter lighting. Not everyone is on a honeymoon.
