The worst part was the Wi-Fi. It kept dropping and was painfully slow throughout the hotel, especially in my room. I couldn't even watch a YouTube video. I complained several times, and a couple of front desk guys said they'd look into it, but nothing changed during my 10-day stay. I had to go to cafes and restaurants around Antalya for fast internet. Very disappointing. The hotel itself is a good deal, though. I paid €40 per night including taxes and fees, a reasonable price for a decent, clean hotel, especially with so many places in Antalya looking sketchy or unreliable. It's a bit dated and imperfect, but I'd still recommend it if saving money is a priority. If you find a similar rate, €40 a night, take it without doubts. My Standard Double Room (#502) was spacious for one person, with simple but pleasant design and furniture in good condition. There was a small entry foyer with a corner luggage bench, a roomy closet, and two large windows that brought in daylight. One could be fully opened for fresh air, and a separate glass door led to a small balcony. I had beautiful city and mountain views. The room wasn't well soundproofed, though. Hallway noise, especially housekeeping in the mornings, woke me almost every day. The TV was small and outdated, the refrigerator was old and didn't get very cold, and the AC remote only worked right next to the unit, so I couldn't adjust it from bed. The air conditioner blew straight onto the bed, so I preferred to leave it off and sleep with the window open most nights. There were only a few hangers in the closet. The Queen-size bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were too firm for me. The bathroom was small but well designed and maintained, with a roomy shower stall, good function, and strong water pressure. The cheap bathroom products smelled terrible, so I bought my own shampoo and shower gel. The hotel is in central Antalya, within walking distance of many main sights, including the old historic part of town, with shops, cafes, and restaurants all around. It's old and partly outdated but still looks fine. I liked the marble details in the lobby, and the whole place was spotlessly clean every day. There's just one elevator, and it's old, small, and very slow. On the 5th floor its “down” button didn't work, so I had to press “up” to call it. A 24-hour porter helped with whatever was needed. At night it felt safer with both a front desk clerk and porter in the lobby. The desk staff were consistently polite, friendly, and sweet, especially the morning/day guy. Housekeeping ladies were kind and quick to bring anything I asked for, and I often saw them working late, even around 4 p.m. Check-in was fast and easy, and they honored my request for a high-floor room with a nice city view.

The view from my room was awful, facing a dirty alley full of trash and the broken windows of an old block across from the hotel. The rooms were small, and someone had left garbage under the bed, though otherwise the room was clean. Dinner was so poor we'd rather have gone elsewhere in the city. The food all felt cheap, with stale bread, plain salad without dressing or olive oil, no cheese, and barely any meat, like a war ration. The service ladies were very slow, though one was nice. The reception guys didn't speak English but did try to help. The lift broke while there were lots of guests. I managed because I'm strong, but the older ladies weren't as happy. Not a great experience, but not the worst either. For the price and location, it's serviceable.

This hotel is really only suitable if you're on a budget. The room was very old, although clean, and the halls had no A/C, so it was hot on the way down. The staff were friendly overall, except one older man at reception who was a little grumpy when we returned at 1 am. They offer parking, but if the hotel is full you'll have to find somewhere to park at your own risk.

The reception service made a good first impression, and both the room and bathroom were clean. I stayed four nights on my first trip to Antalya and had no problems. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, even by reception. Still, it’s a decent choice if you’re in Antalya for a few days.

Yusun at reception was kind and helpful, and we appreciated the free parking. The breakfast spread was broad, though I’m gluten-free, dairy-free, and avoid nightshades, so I stuck with cooked eggs and salad. I also wished the dishes had English names and ingredient information. My partner liked that coffee from the lounge machine was free. We picked the hotel for its position between Konyaalti Beach and Old Town, its reviews, and the nightly rate. The room looked less glossy than the booking-site photos and smelled of smoke. We were told it was fully booked, so there wasn’t another room available. Everything worked, though some things felt old, especially the carpet. The balcony was handy for drying clothes, and the air conditioning worked.
