Aqua City Suit

The pool was a highlight for me, especially for lap swimming. Aqua City Suites is on a quiet street, with grocery stores, cafes and other businesses close by. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Konyaalty Beach, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed five nights with two friends. The crew were helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. The location made it easy to get around, with supermarkets, the beach and the bus station close by. It was a nice stay, thank you.

Our apartment was spacious and had a decent balcony, but that was the only good part. The place didn’t match its description: there was no gym, sauna or many of the other advertised features. We paid for what had been promised and got less than half of what we expected. It’s a very residential area, and with all the screaming children and noisy neighbours, it was awful trying to relax. The place felt far too expensive for what it was. I’d go somewhere else for a quiet holiday. If you’re fine with false advertising, feeling ripped off and lots of loud children, this is the place for you.

My family rented and prepaid for an apartment for a month during June and July. It was unhygienic and run-down. Cleaning was scheduled once a week, but even after we asked, nothing seemed clean. The towels were so dirty and old that we used our own. Long-stay guests have to pay for the electricity they use, which would have been fine, except the faulty fridge ran at full power constantly, freezing things and driving up the electricity cost. The swimming pool was very muddy too, especially compared with the pools at neighbouring hotels. The worst part involved the apartment we’d paid for. We went to İstanbul for a few days, then found out it had been rented to someone else while we were away. When we came back earlier than planned, the owner, miss Aynur, told several lies and moved us to a smaller place for a couple of days. Her son, by contrast, said the apartment had been rented to someone else during our time away. I found miss Aynur dishonest and fraudulent, and this experience was disgusting. Stay away from this hotel and these people. It isn’t worth the price or the quality, and it can ruin your holiday.
