We’re having a wonderful holiday so far. It’s slightly out of season, but there’s still plenty of entertainment, and the pools are clean and plentiful. The food is great and there’s lots to choose from. We’re here with two 14 year olds girls, and they’re having a great time. I’d definitely recommend it. The only downside is that the resort feels a little tired, and the sunbeds and patio furniture could be cleaner. It’s a small thing and hasn’t affected our holiday.

Lykia World Antalya gave us an amazing holiday, and the service exceeded our expectations in many ways. The staff were friendly and helpful, welcoming us as if we were the only guests. The food was fresh, delicious and varied. We were especially impressed by all the fruit, and the desserts were out of this world. My kids could have spent all day at the kids club. The amphitheater shows were among the best we’ve ever seen, and the entertainment was lively too, with disco, foam parties and activities like survivor competitions for children. The hotel is enormous. We walked around 10 km a day on average, which we actually enjoyed because we burned off some calories. We joked it was a “fitness hotel.” A few things could be improved. The hotel is old, and some furniture is very outdated and needs replacing. Our bathroom had no door, and the shower cabin had transparent glass, so people could see you showering. That felt awkward at times. Cleaning happened daily but was poor, and we couldn’t tell how the sheets were changed. One bed had everything changed, another only the blanket case, and the third just the pillow cases. There are stairs leading to many rooms, so anyone with a baby stroller has to leave it in the corridor outside the room. The sea isn’t clear, and it’s usually wavy and stormy after 4 p.m. Don’t expect water like Bodrum or Kemer. The sandy beach means even a slight storm stirs up sand and makes the water look unclean. Despite the things we didn’t like, we had a wonderful rest at Lykia World Antalya.

I want to add a positive update to my earlier review. After seeing it, Mustafa and the customer relations team acted quickly and moved us to a new room, a very spacious and comfortable suite that made my family and me very happy. Its location was also more convenient for my parents, so they didn’t have to walk far to reach the hotel amenities. Mustafa and his team checked in with us several times during the rest of our stay to make sure we had what we needed. Thank you again, Mustafa, Irem and the whole team. Your help made a real difference, and we appreciated it. Before that, I’d spent three nights trying to get a wardrobe light fixed. It couldn’t be switched off and lit up half the room at night, making it almost impossible to sleep. I reported it three times, but nothing changed. On the first day, reception noted the problem and called a technician. The next day the light was still on, and I was told they would “cut the wire.” That didn’t happen either. When I raised it again that evening, another receptionist spoke to me in an unacceptable way and sent me to customer relations. At 6:30pm, a staff member there promised it would be fixed immediately, but by 8:30pm I was still in the room with the light on. It wasn’t just the lack of action that upset me, but also the lack of basic courtesy. Nobody said sorry. Communication was poor, the issue was handled carelessly, and several things in the room needed repair. I felt completely ignored, and this wasn’t the kind of service I expected from a hotel. I’m not commenting on other parts of the hotel because after such a frustrating experience I don’t feel objective enough.
